It's a couple of hours before Connor even gets a chance to look at his phone - they picked up a new case that morning, and it's been all hands to the pump which...is pretty much the norm. The law office gets to feel more and more like a ship that's sinking.
Still, when Connor gets the chance, he shoots off a text to Lee. He doesn't know, exactly, what they're doing, but he does know that they're friends and that people he can trust are few and far between.
