Lee nods, his expression entirely serious. “I don’t think it means I won’t ever get another tumor again, and we don’t know if I’ll have to keep taking the pills to keep the tumors from coming back, but if the ones on my liver and my lung are gone?” he goes on, his hands shaking a little.
“It’s the organ failure that’s going to kill me,” he says. “If the tumors are gone…” he finishes, trailing off, shaking his head softly. “It would be as good as a cure."
